EP 12 : SUSAN ROGERS

I'm humbled !

What amazing times that we can find and talk to our heroes!

Here's Susan Rogers and she's responsible for making the best prince records (imho I mean the VERY best ones. She was by his side and in the studio at all times.. day and night making PURPLE RAIN! AROUND THE WORLD IN A DAY! PARADE! SIGN 'O' THE TIMES! not to mention all the music for The Time, Shiela E and all the insane quantity of music that's now in the Prince vault. Without her insanely demanding 4 year tour of duty with the genius of prince we never would have had the funk as it lives on toady. It was time well spent!  I owe her a huge debt of gratitude. Without her energy, Prince would have not been able to create and share his ideas in the same way I'm 100% sure of that. I'm also sure that I'd have never heard the music in the same way over the Atlantic and become a Musican. So I feel deeply happy to get a chance to speak to Susan. 

I'm THRILLED to share this one with you all.
