EP 61 : DAVE SITKE
This is the pod they said would never happen.
Dave and I have come dangerously close to doing this one for a while now so I was pretty shocked when at last I saw that red record light casually engage as I was sat in the studio with Mr Sitek bathed in the heat of his looming, formidable set up
I was introduced to him from my pal and friend of the pod, Vicente. He would tell me I had to meet Dave on many occasion and I had no idea what to expect.
Since that initial micro hang I’ve been lucky enough to spend some rare and unforgettable days at the sonic ranch with him and a gang of wonderful characters that make up the band “The Neverly Boys”
Dave just called to ask if I might want to join them all (this after I’d only met the man twice). That gives you a quick glimpse into his ways.
Impulsive and with little dilly dally,

Yeah.
I just said yes to his invite and headed out to see what was up.
Day after day the music dazzled and came into focus quickly. A master class in “finishing” with a $6000 weed budget!
Night after night we were all treated to incredible food and these incredibly engaging stories from Dave.
